This campground is conveniently located halfway between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. We used it to park our rig and drive our tow down to Disneyland. It was much easier to visit in California attractions using the car. It took about 11/2 hours using the car pool lanes. It is close to an outlet mall and some good restaurants. We recommend eating at Peggy Sues 50's style dinner about a half mile away. You need a car to get around. If you can handle an all-sand site, this campground is an ideal stop over. It easily accomodates big rigs with tows. The sites have privacy scrubs and the roads are easy to maneuver in.
This little park was a great no frills stop over. It had wide roads, large pull thrus big enough to accommodate big rigs. They were long enough to leave your tow attached. It had easy access to I-80. We would have given it a 10 if it had cable TV. The utilities were modern and well placed. The adjacent gas station offered a discount for overnighters. It also had a restaurant with great burgers. We camped in late November and they had full hook ups available . The site is open which allow you to get satellite. The proximity to the highway far outweighed what little noise you heard while staying. We would recommend this park for anyone looking for a great value with clean facilities while traveling I-80. This is not a resort but a great stop over.
We did not experience the rude people previously mentioned in reviews, in fact all of the staff were friendly and very helpful. The water connection is in the ground and very difficult to connect. The sites are short and have high curbing which makes it extremely difficult to maneuver with a tow. I scrapped my dolly on the curbing and damaged the stripping mechanism when leaving. You will have to unhook your tow because it will stick out in the road. Be careful when entering from I-40, as it is easy to miss the turn onto the frontage road and you will wind up back on I-40. The breakfast room was very clean and the breakfast was mediocre but it was free, so not much to complain about.
Creme de la creme of RV Parks West of the Mississippi. It took two brothers from Indiana, Purdue grads at that, to figure out what the modern RV public is seeking. We were going to stay only one night but this park was so nice we stayed more. The other reviews detail the amenities, which are unsurpassed. Will bookmark this park for future stops.
This Rv Park is a little pricey and hard to find. All of the sites and interior roads are concrete or paved. Will accomodate large rigs with tow vehicles. The onsight restaurant is good and only steps from your site. You can stop here overnight and have a good cocktail and dinner without unhooking. The value for the price is the only drawback. The staff is friendly and the park is very clean.
Easy access from highway. No grass all stone sites. Good for overnight stops. The full timers and working people staying here ruined the tranquility. Being close to the highway adds to the noise. Clubhouse and pool are mediocre.
